Being a bear lover, this immediately caught my eye. I'm looking forward to this book. The illustrations are great! The bears have a bit of a soft appearance. The top picture radiates joy and the bedtime scene captures a special, peaceful moment. The picture of the pond feels so realistic. The rain, the sky...... beautifully done!

Your artwork is fabulous, Christopher. I recently bought Oliver Finds His Way when I stumbled across the cover online. This book will be at the top of my list as soon as it comes out.

Chris,

Love seeing how you mastered Photoshop in less than two years to make it do what you do best. Outstanding work. Kudos!

Greatings from the caribbean island.

Great blog--I like seeing your bookmaking process. So, you made the jump to Photoshop? Do you like it better than working traditionally? I like the detail and softness of these bear illustrations.

I was browsing through the picture books today at Borders when I came across the book "Me With You". Your illustrations struck me the most with such a warm feeling. I would have never guessed you used Photoshop. I am a member of SCBWI, an "emerging artist" and just came back from their conference in LA where I met and learned from several other illustrators. I hope to keep learning more. I hope we can stay in touch.
