December 8th: Super fun day meeting the students at Moses Brown in Providence R.I. today! This picture shows a pig that we all came up with but the best part was when the subject of my live ipad drawing demo was taken over by the second and third graders. The two borrow from the same discipline of understanding visual pacing, lighting, perspective, drama, comedic timing, continuity, etc. Gifted storybook artists and gifted storyboard artists are above all, excellent visual communicators. They innately understand and can compellingly communicate the story beats of a manuscript or screenplay. I have attached some development work from my book "Pigs Love Potatoes"
